Darjeeling TGFOP 'Margarets Hope'

This classic Darjeeling tea plantation , located in the Kurseong North valley, was established around 1865 under a different name.  The 1930s garden owner lived in London but visited the garden with his two daughters and the younger, named Margaret, fell in love with it, hoping for an opportunity to return.  She sadly fell ill during the return voyage to England and died.  In her memory, her father changed the garden's name to Margaret's Hope.

Darjeeling Margarets Hope is a First Flush (from the first harvest of the season) and is exceptional quality.  Highly recommended.
Please be aware this tea, along with all our Darjeelings, changes in flavour from season to season.
