| Traditional Green & White Teas |
|
Green teas are fast gaining recognition for their health-giving properties. They are said to help reduce the incidence of cancer, inhibit the increase of blood pressure & blood sugar, lower cholesterol and kill some bacteria. Green Tea contains a small amount of caffeine.
To brew, use only half a teaspoon per cup, infuse for one minute only and drink when slightly cooled. Do not make tea too strong as it will taste very bitter.
Green tea is wonderfully economical with 100 grams making around 75 cups of tea. |
